Greens + Hemp with Mango - Meal on the Go

This filling smoothie is my go-to lately. This is perfect for blending up and enjoying early in the morning before work. If you can't make time to enjoy your breakfast at home, pack it up and eat on the go or when you reach your destination! I walk about 30 minutes to work each day and sometimes like to enjoy a smoothie while I walk. Hemp seeds bring protein, as does my new favorite plant-based milk Ripple Unsweetened Original Milk.  I think the best part about green smoothies is that dark leafy greens used like spinach and kale (especially when blended together) provide fiber, vitamins C, A, and K, as well as beta carotene and potassium. I love that mango and banana provide amazing nutrients as well when blended in. Mango contains tons of strong cancer-fighting antioxidants, while bananas bring vitamin B6. Medjool dates are a great add-in for vegans in particular because they provide fiber, vitamin B-6, niacin and pantothenic acid. Check out the recipe below, and remember to nourish your body with amazing fuel each morning for breakfast.
